Using Partivo without an account

You can browse and search the catalog without signing in. Your favorites, recent searches and settings (language, theme) are then stored only on your device: in the app's storage on Android, or in your browser's local storage on the website. They are not sent to our servers.

Signing in with Google (optional)

Sign-in is only possible with a Google account, through Google Firebase Authentication. When you sign in we receive from Google: your name, email address, a Firebase user ID, your profile photo URL and whether your email is verified. We do not receive your Google password.

We use this to identify your account, to sync your data between your devices, and to apply any premium or ad-free access linked to your account.

Account sync

When you are signed in, your favorites (the saved models and parts, with their label), your recent searches (search text and filters) and your settings (language and theme) are synced and stored on our server, linked to your Firebase user ID. This lets you see the same data on the app and the website.

When you remove a favorite or a recent search, we keep a small deletion marker so your other devices also remove it. These markers are cleaned up during later syncs once they are older than 90 days (favorites) or 30 days (recent searches). We keep at most 20 recent searches per account.

Our database is hosted by Neon (PostgreSQL) in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Each account can only read and change its own synced data.

Premium access and activation codes

If you redeem an activation code or receive premium or ad-free access, we store that access (type and expiry date) linked to your user ID, and we record which account used the code so that it cannot be used again.

Advertising

The website shows no ads.

The Android app contains the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and Google's consent tools (User Messaging Platform). Ads are currently switched off. When ads are switched on, Google may process your device's Advertising ID, approximate location derived from your IP address, ad interactions and diagnostic information to show and measure ads. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and the UK), Google's consent form asks for your choice first, and you can change it later in the app under Settings → Ad privacy choices. Accounts with ad-free access do not see ads.

Analytics and notifications

We do not use analytics or tracking tools (no Firebase Analytics, no Google Analytics) on the website or in the app, and we do not send push notifications.

Security and abuse protection

All connections use HTTPS. Requests reach our server through our API gateway (Cloudflare) and the website hosting (Google Firebase App Hosting, EU). To protect the service from abuse we limit the number of requests using a salted hash of your IP address; these counters are deleted after at most 5 minutes. Our hosting and network providers may keep standard technical request logs under their own policies.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run Partivo for us: Google (Firebase Authentication, Firebase App Hosting and, when ads are switched on, AdMob), Neon (database) and Cloudflare (API gateway). We may also disclose data if the law requires it.

How long we keep data

Account and synced data are kept until you delete your account or remove the data yourself. Data stored only on your device stays there until you clear it, clear the app's data or uninstall the app, or clear your browser's site data.

Your choices and rights

• Use Partivo without signing in, so nothing is synced.
• Remove favorites and recent searches at any time in the app or on the website; the change is synced.
• Sign out, or delete your account in the app or on the website.
• Ask us for access to, correction of or deletion of your data by writing to yinarthur.0x@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (for example under Morocco's Law 09-08 or the EU GDPR) you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Partivo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the way we handle data changes, and change the date at the top.
